Due to its popularity, WordPress is constantly targeted by those who seek to wreak havoc. WordPress websites needs regular maintenance to keep the updates that WordPress releases current. Each time an update to the WP core is released, the Divi Builder, themes, and plugins follow with their own updates, if needed, to keep them working. Keeping the WordPress installation current is so important because many of the changes are security patches. If these updates are not installed on a regular basis, you can expect your site to break or be hacked. These updates are vital to keeping your site online.

I will teach you to install these updates yourself OR you may choose a maintenance plan. If you choose to do this regular maintenance yourself but need help with other things from time to time, I am available. You will be billed at an hourly rate of $90.

All plans include updates to the WP core, themes, plugins, and the Divi Builder to include verifying and fixing any compatibility issues resulting from those updates. Additionally, I will create and download a backup of the site. I offer 3 plans – the first is only for core updates and backups. The other two also offer content editing for those who find it overwhelming or just too time consuming. If more than two hours are needed, you will be billed at an hourly rate of $90. If you choose to subscribe to a plan, you will be asked to pay via auto-billing through my invoicing system (Freshbooks) or either with PayPal recurring payments.

WordPress Core Updates: Keep your WordPress version up to date and reduce the risk of security issues. Theme Updates: Update your WordPress theme, if there’s a new version available, and resolve any compatibility issues. Update Plugins: Update plugins and resolve any compatibility issues. Monthly Backups: Generate and download a backup that will be saved on my computer until the next back up (My computer is kept backed up by Carbonite.) Edits: Support, updates, changes, and/or additions to be made with content provided by you
