The Ellerslie Volunteer Fire Department (EVFD) serves a seventy-six square mile area of southeastern Harris County, Georgia, including Ellerslie and portions of communities in the surrounding area. A non-profit private corporation, the EVFD operates under the supervision of a ten-member Board of Directors comprised of volunteer fire fighters and citizens.
